WHAT IS
The general contractor, an Anglo-Saxon word that can be translated into: “general contractor or prime contractor”, is a company or individual that deals with the complete execution of a general-contractor of construction, renovation or preparation of houses, buildings or offices or even the execution of a work.

The general contractor is entrusted with the complete assignment of the design and all the essential steps to originate the work the customer needs. The contract must include the requested work or services, the sum of the available budget, the general conditions and the technical specifications to carry out the project desired by the client.

The general contractor deals with agreements with suppliers of raw materials or companies specialized in carrying out construction, renovation, plant engineering and all the necessary services to respect and execute the project.

In order to comply with these duties, it uses “subcontractors”, which are generally individuals with a high degree of experience and professionalism that are routinely addressed and with whom they have relationships of trust, so as to ensure the customer full reliability and safety.

The company Giama srl was founded in the year two thousand one with the aim of recovering abandoned rural properties to return housing units in perfect harmony with the context in which they are inserted, and at the same time operating in a sustainable way. In fact, every time we recover an ancient building, we save our territory from further cementification. Part of the proceeds necessary for the recovery of these buildings, derive from operations of General Contractor (otherwise known as “turnkey”). Giama srl is a dynamic company, in continuous growth, that loves challenges, and makes resilience its strong point together with speed and seriousness.
